Speed Cleaning

There are times when clutter gets out of control.  There are times when the physical clutter is so out of control that it creates mental clutter.  The kind of mental clutter that makes you want to sit down, close your eyes, and imagine that Calgon will take you away.

Just the word clutter makes me want to check into a hotel.

These are the times when speed cleaning comes in handy.

Tonight, I gave myself one hour to put things in order: hang up the clothes, put away the groceries, and clear away all the miscellaneous items that have built up over the last few days.  Amazing what you can do with 60 minutes.

The apartment isn’t perfectly tidy, but I feel lighter.

Now I can rest easy, and that is goodness.
